  1. You nailed Coach and DDD! We were involved from 2000-2004, when our son ran for Coach, and after cause it becomes a lifestyle! Still help at events when we can. Did you go to Estero, cause you really understand the man and his legacy. Great job!

    • Hey Sue. Thanks for the note. I actually covered EHS for the Bonita Banner from ’99-’03 before I went to work for the Naples Daily News fulltime (then later the Associated Press). Jeff remains one of the more colorful and interesting guys I’ve ever written about. His passing is heartbreaking but hopefully his legacy will live on for generations of runners to come.
